I adore fics where Spock is kind of confused about human emotions and how to approach them. I like that he's so concerned for Jim in the beginning, but just doesn't know the right thing to say. Poor waddly and preggers!Uhura! I love the sibling-type relationship she has with Spock, and that ultimately, he helps to deliver her baby. There's something about the crew being a family in that sense that just GET ME.
I have researched common birthing practices of over twenty- eight male, one hundred and twenty-two female and six hermaphroditic species.

Aww, this was a nice take on revisiting Tarsus. I like that Jim now has Mittens and the birth of Bones and Uhura's baby as some more positive things to associate with that place. Lovely!
